Booking and pre-event
You can pop in an enquiry by filling out the contact form on the website or if you have a question e-mail me directly at hello@bowersbitsandbobs.co.uk. Once we have the initial details sorted and I can confirm my availability we will discuss packages and add ons and see what suits you best. To secure your date I require a non-refundable 50% deposit, the rest of the balance is due 4 weeks before the date of your event. 6 weeks before the big day I will be in touch to discuss the finer details - text / background imagery, timings for the day and our location within the venue. I’ll also send a payment reminder for the remaining balance.
On the day
Myself and my event assistant will arrive in good time to set up before any of your guests arrive. We have all of our own equipment including a table if needed, we just require 2 chairs and access to a power source. We’ll get photos as your guests arrive, and I’ll start drawing during the ceremony. I’ll continue drawing throughout the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Guests are welcome to come and watch the process, adding a little entertainment value to your day. My assistant, along with printing and packaging the completed portraits, will be available to get more photos throughout the day. Once the portraits are done your guests are welcome to take them with them as a favour and a keepsake of the day. Unless you have booked the twilight add on we’ll be packed up and ready to go as your evening guests arrive, and will leave any completed prints displayed for your guests to take with them.
Post event
Whilst I endeavour to get as many portraits as possible done on the day, it’s not always possible to finish them all. I will allocate a day post event to complete any outstanding portraits, and you’ll be sent the rest of the physical prints in the post. I will then upload all of your images into a password protected online gallery for you and your guests to view. From here you’ll be able to order any of the illustrations as larger prints, cards, magnets, and other keepsakes. The online gallery will stay live until 3 months after it’s published - plenty of time to get your hands on additional keepsakes and make the memories of your day last a lifetime!
